INCLUSIVE LEARNING THROUGH AUGMENTATIVE AND ALTERNATIVE COMMUNICATION (AAC) INITIATIVE
As part of our continuous inclusive education learning, TALI is committed to upscaling its Tab project (Augmentative and Alternative Communication) device in Ehime Mbano/Ihitte Uboma/Obowo Federal Constituency, Imo state. The AAC devices are tools that help students with cerebral palsy and speech impairment to express themselves or communicate with their colleagues, teachers, family, and friends with ease.
With continued support from the public, we can extend the TALI Tab project to other states across the nation, fostering inclusive education and making a positive impact on students' lives

SRHR----INCLUSIVE FAMILY PLANNING FOR WOMEN & GIRLS WITH DISABILITIES
As an IP, TALI participated in a series of meetings in 2025 focused on drafting a national policy on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHRs) for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) and Vulnerable Populations in Nigeria. Part of the concerns in the SRHR policy is Inclusive Family Planning, especially for women and girls with disabilities. Inclusive Family Planning (IFP) is one of the most important parts of SRHRs, which TALI will implement in 2026, using Akwa-Ibom State for its pilot.

TALI's TRAINING SESSION ON USE OF AUGMENTATIVE AND ALTERNATIVE (AAC) COMMUNICATIION DEVICES IN SCHOOLS
At our recently concluded educational outreach at GSS Kuje on the 28th of June, 2024, we were able to provide a range of valuable educational materials to the school. Students with cerebral palsy received Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices, empowering them to communicate more effectively. Additionally, we donated a projector, a laptop, educational posters, tape recorders and wheelchairs to enhance the learning environment and facilitate better teaching methods.
With continued support from the public, we can extend our training program to more schools, fostering inclusive education and making a positive impact on students' lives. Stay tuned for our upcoming outreach in a school in the near future.
